Do any of you understand whether we're supposed to download the new library files for the new SE library organization they've come up with? I've got a question posted on the VSL forum, but I'm a little confused.
There are also updates for the software too.

I don't have SE, so can't really help...

What do you mean by "new SE library organization?" You can tell I haven't been to VSL's website in awhile. Can you post a link so I can see what you're talking about?

Never mind, I went to their site and figured it out. I don't think you need to re-download your SE collections. Looks to me like a marketing decision - apparently they have a new way of packaging the Special Edition collection to make it easier to afford. They've broken it up into many "sublibraries" instead of just four full orchestral packages (Standard, Standard Plus, Extended, and Extended Plus). I just might be able to upgrade my strings now. ;-)
And yes, there are new versions of VI and VE that appear to be minor technical updates as well, plus a new version of the HP Preferences file. I've posted links to the new SE and new HP Preferences in the relevant boards elsewhere in the forum.
