I guess this covers just about everything now...
Any comments on the VSL percussion? I need to get something to replace the EWQLSO Perc. I write for small ensembles, so "Epic" is not what I'm looking for. I downloaded the full VSL Vibe, but was a little disappointed that there were no pathches with the spinners (or whatever the right word is).

Not sure what you mean by "spinners". I use Tapspace Virtual Drumline 2.5.5 and between that and VSL I have all my percussion needs covered and then some.

I'm not sure of the proper name. Vari speed motors, that spin the little plates, that make the vibrato.

OK, so you're talking about the vibrato created by turning the motor on. The VSL vibraphone DOES have vibrato patches so I'm not sure why you said that they don't......here's the list straight from the Vibraphone page inside the VSL Download section: www.vsl.co.at/en/211/496/723/2258/2306/1959.htmMedium and soft mallets have slow and fast vibrato patches in the Standard Library; the Extended Library adds hard mallets with single hit slow and fast vibrato. It's interesting that you have to get the Extended Library in order to get any rolls at all. If you just have the Standard Library your vibes tremolos are going to sound pretty cheesy via Finale playback, I would think, but on the other hand each library is only 55 euros.
